The NPAAA established a Sports Hall of Fame in 2005 that recognizes the outstanding individual athletes, coaches and teams that brought honor to themselves and the school. In addition, the NPAAA is providing future generations a documented record of NPSD’s sports history. This history will not only provide a source of pride, but also a standard to emulate. This history originated with North Penn’s Legacy Schools: Hatfield High School, Lansdale High School and North Wales High School, dating back to 1887 and were consolidated in 1955 to become North Penn High School. As of October 13, 2012, at the 8th Annual NPAAA Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, two Lifetime Achievement Inductees, 124 individual athletes and coaches and 21 championship teams will have been inducted. Their metal plaques are displayed on the Walls of Honor in the Hall of Fame, located in NPHS.

As of September 2012, the NPAAA has reached a milestone of over 407 members and continues to grow. The membership is open to the public. For more information, please contact NPAAA president Thomas F. Strickland, Jr. at or
