Advertising in NPSD is Developing through the NP ADvantage Program

Over the past year the North Penn School District Alternative Revenue Committee (ARC) provided the NPSD Board of School Directors with opportunities for the school district to generate possible alternative revenue sources. Based on the ARC’s recommendation, the Board of School Directors approved a policy allowing for-profit and non-profit organizations the opportunity to advertise in a variety of locations throughout the North Penn School District.

Since the policies approval, Christine Liberaski, Manager of the Office of School and Community Engagement, and Erin Crew, Advertising and Marketing Specialist, have been working with NPSD stakeholders in order to develop advertising guidelines that will have a positive impact in North Penn School District and the North Penn community. The NP ADvantage Program was developed with suggestions from the NPSD superintendent, nationwide research of advertising in school districts and focus groups with both internal users and community organizations. While guidelines, rates and locations are being finalized, many of the school districts’ users have given positive feedback during these beginning stages.

More detailed information, such as rates and locations, will be available in the coming months as the advertising guidelines are finalized and approved. Please click here to read the full advertising policy.
